I strongly believe in the importance of promoting scientific thinking, as well as the public awareness and understanding of science.
In 2019 I launched the Global Cosmos Prize Programme for Science Literacy, an initiative for the promotion of scientific culture, that involves every year tens of authors of outstanding popular science books, and thousands of high-school students in Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Spain. Please follow this link to know more about this initiative and discover how you can get involved.
I write a column for the Italian daily newspaper “La Repubblica”. A selection of articles can be found at this link [in Italian].
